Following Jon Arnett’s footsteps, the Hartland Statues 1959-1963 “Los Angeles Rams Running Back” figurine stood colorfully in its manufacture, limited to 5,000 specimens. Presented is one such example in its original retail box. Affixed to its green base, the (NM) gridiron novelty is toting a pigskin in his right arm and is clearly visible in a cardboard container with “Los Angeles Rams” printed on the facing and “BACKFIELD” stamped upon the top flap. The original unused numeric decals accompany, and NFL team logos decorate the sides and back of the box. The box presents nicely, though it is affected by a few minor creases and indentations. Additionally, the cello front panel is partially torn and incomplete.
