Issued during the late-1800s, these Old Judge tobacco cards portray international stage and song sirens. Sepia-toned likenesses appear on the front of thick stock premiums, which feature both advertisement and blank backs. Among the (321) collectibles, (201) have Sweet Caporal reverses, while the (120) blank-backed examples have front ads for varieties like Admiral, Creole, Cross Cut, Duke, Lone Jack and Virginia Brights. The approximate overall breakdown is 10% (EX or better); 40% (VG-EX); and 50% (VG or lesser), with paper loss affecting less than 5%.
