Presented is vintage World Hockey Association apparel: a Quebec Nordiques jersey worn by former left winger Charles Constantin during the 1975-76 season. Promoted after playing eight games for the NAHL’s Maine Nordiques, Constantin wore this blue dureen pullover garment with the team logo sewn to the front in white-on-blue-on-red triple twill and “14” sewn to the back and shoulders in white twill. Atop the back number, “CONSTANTINE” is screened to a nameplate, and a twill fleur-de-lis adorns each shoulder. A vintage “MASKA” label resides within the stretch ribbed cotton V-neck, and the interior back tail is home to a leather fight strap. The jersey shows heavy wear with a tiny hole on the front, stick and board marks throughout, and puckering about the nameplate. Full photo LOA from Rich Ellis.
