Description

Enduring an eighth successive losing season as the reincarnation of the Washington Senators, the 1968 version had Ron Hansen’s unassisted triple play to smile about, but little else. The offered OAL Cronin baseball is signed by (28) members of that ’68 "Capitol City" squad. The beautiful creamy orb is home to blue ballpoint signatures that uniformly show (“7-8”) strength and clarity. Includes: Sweet Spot: J. Lemon (manager); North Panel: Allen, Unser, McMullen, F. Howard, Denehy and Hannan; South Panel: Stroud, Camilli (coach), Casanova, Knowles, Epstein and Hansen; West Panel: Ortega, Fox (coach), Bowens, Valentine, Baldwin, Bryan and E. Brinkman; East Panel: Humphreys, Bertaina, Hudson (coach), Higgins, Bosman, Peterson and Moore; Opposite Sweet Spot: Pascual. Full photo LOA from James Spence Authentications.
