Description

Fleet on the base paths, the 1953 Washington Senators paced the Junior Circuit in triples (53) and were second with 65 stolen bases, as they posted back-to-back non-losing seasons for the first time in twenty years. The offered OAL Harridge baseball is signed by (27) members of that 53 Senators roster. The creamy orb (grade 7-8) is home to black or blue ink signatures that average (6-7) strength, with a few nicer. Includes: Sweet Spot: B. Harris (manager), Marrero and Myatt (coach); North Panel: Snyder, Coan, Jensen, Fitzgerald (coach), Runnels, Schmitz and Thomas; South Panel: Jensen (repeat signature), Terwilliger, Haynes (coach), Porterfield, Vollmer, Stobbs and Lane; West Panel: Masterson, Dixon, Yost, Grasso, Haynes (repeat signature) and Vernon; East Panel: Sima, Coan (repeat signature), Thomas (repeat signature), Hoderlein, Terwilliger (repeat signature), Busby, Sacka and Davalillo; Opposite Sweet Spot: Shea. Full photo LOA from James Spence Authentications.
