The first Washington Senators team to win its first four games since the 1913 version, Bucky Harris’ 1951 charges eventually succumbed to the “Damn Yankees” and all was back to normal in the American League. The offered baseball is autographed by (28) members of that fast-starting 1951 Senators installment. The medium-toned unofficial sphere (grade “4-5”) has a thin coat of period shellac and features blue ink signatures whose potency ranges between (“3-4”) and (“6-7”) strength. Includes: Sweet Spot: Dente and B. Harris (manager); North Panel: Moreno, Johnson, Vernon, Runnels, Coan, Yost and unidentified; South Panel: Noren, Robertson, Myatt (coach), Grasso, Marrero and Hudson; West Panel: Campos, Milan (coach), Haynes, Porterfield, Ferrick and Klutz; East Panel: Altrock (coach), unidentified, M. Harris, unidentified, Consuegra and Verble; Opposite Sweet Spot: B. Harris (repeat signature) and McCormick. Full photo LOA from James Spence Authentications.
