On his way to more than 2,000 managerial triumphs, Hall of fame skipper Bucky Harris took the reins in Washington for the third time beginning in 1950. It was during that season that (23) members of the Senators autographed this OAL Harridge baseball. The sphere (grade 4-5) has been coated with scattered applications of period shellac and features black ink pennings that average (6) quality (with a few nicer). Includes: Sweet Spot: B. Harris (manager) and Myatt (coach); North Panel: Noren, Evans, Okrie, Robertson and Combs; South Panel: Altrock (coach), Hudson, Kozar, Hittle, E. Robinson and Haynes; West Panel: Stewart, Scarborough, M. Harris, Marrero and Yost; East Panel: Welteroth, Stewart (repeat signature), Yost (repeat signature), Nagy, Weik, Grasso and Coan.
