In their second and final season under the guidance of skipper Joe Cronin, the 1934 defending American League champion Washington Senators endured an abysmal second half of the season en route to a seventh-place showing. The offered OAL Harridge baseball is autographed by (25) members of that roster (including catcher/international espionage figure Moe Berg). The off-white sphere (grade 6-7) is home to black-ink fountain pen autographs of various strength, grading as high as (6-7) while registering less potency elsewhere. Includes: Sweet Spot: Schacht (coach) and Cronin (manager, 5); North Panel: Stone, Schulte, Altrock (coach), Linke, Diggs, Russell and Prim; South Panel: Weaver, D. Harris, Boken, Whitehill and Kuhel; West Panel: unidentified, T. Thomas, Berg (5) and Travis; East Panel: L. Sewell, Stewart, Klumpp, Filley, Kerr and Myer; Opposite Sweet Spot: unidentified.
