While “other” Major League teams were colorfully represented by porcelain banks, the Cleveland Indians were portrayed on additional accessories by locally based Gibbs-Conner & Co. This 1951 pairing includes “Chief Wahoo” hollowed heads designed as a toothpick holder and stamp dispenser (the latter item has a horizontal opening on the mascot’s smile and an accompanying lid). Both have holes atop the head (as crafted) to facilitate insertion of a feather. Etched on the bottom of each base is "G-C & Co '51'."
