It should come as no coincidence that the locally manufactured Gibbs-Conner & Co. 1950s Cleveland Indians banks compare favorable to any “Chief Wahoo” representation of that era. Standing 7”-tall, this well-preserved porcelain specimen showcases luminous hues, the mascot’s trademark toothy grin and a baseball-shaped receptacle. With “Cleveland Baseball Club” and the manufacturer’s name etched along the base, the item has a hole (as crafted) atop the head to facilitate insertion of a feather (not included).
