The lone heavyweight to retire with an unblemished record, ring legend Rocky Marciano won 43 of his 49 bouts via knockout. The offered framed display includes a full page letter composed and signed by Marciano. Framed to dimensions of 22-7/8 x 17-3/8”, the display features a September 19, 1956 Sports Illustrated cover and an 8x11 sheet of Marciano’s stationery. Composed entirely in red ballpoint, the letter is addressed to “Ernie” and details a business venture. At the conclusion, the signature (signed “Rocky”) trumpets (“10”) strength and clarity. The sheet shows normal horizontal compacting folds. Full photo LOA from James Spence Authentications. Additional details on our website.
