The NFL and upstart AFL staged their first-ever championship battle in January 1967. In what was to later be dubbed the “Super Bowl,” the first installment saw the defending champion Green Bay Packers dismantle the AFL champion Kansas City Chiefs at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Encapsulated and Graded EX 5 by PSA, this ticket stub was issued for that historic gridiron contest. The “Reserved Seat” admission voucher features a football player bust as the event’s first logo. Additionally, there are printed seating and event details. The item presents wonderfully, with sharp edges/corners and a clean reverse that features a diagram of the Los Angeles edifice.
