Eight years to the date of laying his first “bookend,” Pittsburgh Pirates slugger Willie Stargell broke Oriole hearts again, scoring the winning run in Game 7 of the 1979 World Series to make winners of the Bucs just as he had done in 1971. Encapsulated and Graded NM 7 by PSA, this full ticket was issued at Baltimore’s Memorial Stadium for that decisive and climactic 1979 contest. The colorful “Upper Reserved” voucher features the hosts’ cartoon bird logo as well as the event logo. True to its technical praise, the ticket showcases sharp edges/corners, sturdy perforations and stunning colors.
