Description

Tailored to match the design of the club’s 1925 apparel, this San Francisco Giants home uniform was worn and signed by former southpaw Bud Black during a “Turn Back the Clock” contest in 1991. The white knit jersey and pants feature a blue pinstripe pattern, proper “Rawlings” tagging and felt identifiers. Also included is a cap, belt and stirrup socks from that same uniform. Items show appropriate single-event wear. Comes with a COA on Giants letterhead. Complete details on our website.

Jersey a white knit button-down garment with blue pinstripes and a blue-and-gold pile 5-5/8”-diameter “National League Golden Jubilee 1876-1925” patch on the left breast. An “NY” logo is sewn to the left shoulder in red felt and Black’s number “40” is sewn to the back in like fashion. On the right breast, Black’s black marker autograph projects (“8-9”) strength and clarity. On the left front tail, a “Rawlings” size “46” label is accompanied by a swatch with a chain stitched notation of “Turn back the Clock 6-23-91 Black.”

Pants white knit leg wear with a blue pinstripe pattern, (6) belt loops, (2) back pockets and a two-button zippered fly. Within the elasticized waistband, a “Rawlings” size “35” label is sewn alongside a swatch with a chain stitched legend reading “Turn Back the Clock 6-23-91 Black.”

Cap a white knit crown with a blue pinstripe pattern and “NY” embroidered to the front center in red. A blue wool-lined bill accented the piece and the interior sweatband is home to a “Roman” manufacturer’s label and a size “7-5/8” tag.

Stirrup Socks white heavy cotton accessories with a red-black-and-blue striped pattern

Belt a black leather accessory with (6) holes to facilitate fastening
