Description

Wielded during the early-1970s by Philadelphia Phillies sluggers in the on deck circle, this Hillerich & Bradsby weighted bat provided “old school” warm-up techniques in an era when strength and home runs came through hard work and sweat. Turned during the 1973-1975 labeling period, this 35” weapon features a deep brown finish and a Hornsby-style knob. It has all of the earmarks of a tradition bat …until you pick it up. A weighted rod has been inserted through the barrel end, so the lumber weighs 53.6-ounces. The item is uncracked and shows bat rack streaks.
